Each year, we select an organ donor from the San Diego region to be memorialized on the float in the Rose Parade. The parade is a beloved Southern California tradition that takes place in Pasadena on New Year’s Day. The Donate Life Float is always one of the most emotional entries, as the floral portraits of deceased organ and tissue donors are woven into the beautiful design.
